34 Phone Basics Search button Press SEARCH to search information on the current screen or application. For example, while in the People, press SEARCH to search for a contact in the phone. Press SEARCH while in Maps to search for places of interest. Press SEARCH while in the Home screen or Browser to launch Google™ search and search information on the web. In any search bar, enter the information you want to search, and then press SEARCH again. 1.5 Getting Around Your Phone There are different ways to navigate around the Home screen, menus and application screens on your phone.
