There is no need to touch the dirty filter-simply remove front panel to vacuum the permanent filter clean. Use of an ionizer when filter and grills are dirty may result in dirt particles exiting the air purifier and being attracted to walls and other household objects. The air purifier releases negative ions into the filtered air. The ions are colorless, odorless, and harmless. The negative ions attach to small particles in the air causing the particles to take on a negative charge. The negatively charged particles join positively charged particles like dust, smoke, pollen and pet dander to form larger particles that are more effectively captured by the filter system. • Wipe enclosure, control panel, and cord with a damp cloth or sponge. • The front panel can be removed and washed in warm, soapy water. Do not place in dishwasher. Make sure the panel is completely dry before reinstalling. • The outlet grill on the back of the unit should simply be dusted. • No part of the air purifier should be placed in a dishwasher. 6 To clean the permanent filter: 1. Turn off and unplug air purifier. 2. Remove magnetic front panel to access permanent filter. 3. Use the crevice tool or brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner to clean permanent filter. Run attachment between pleated filter layers to clean. 4. Replace magnetic front panel. NOTES: • There is no need to remove filter from unit. • Clean the filter once every three to six months depending on usage rate and soil level. • Even after vacuuming clean, some permanent discoloration of the filter should be expected. negatively charged particles join
positively charged particles like dust,
smoke, pollen and pet dander to form
larger particles that are more effectively
captured by the filter system.
• Wipe enclosure, control panel, and

should simply be dusted.
• No part of the air purifier should be
placed in a dishwasher.
To clean the permanent filter:

clean.
4.
Replace magnetic front panel.
