Allow 3 minutes for iron to reach desired temperature. 3. To turn iron off, set Temperature Control to OFF ( O ) and unplug the iron. To Steam Iron 1. Unplug iron. Open water tank fill cover. Using a cup, slowly pour 10 ounces (310 ml) of tap water into the water tank opening. Close water tank fill cover. 2. Plug in iron. 3. With iron in upright position, set Temperature Control to desired setting in steam range. Allow 3 minutes for iron to reach desired temperature. Do not preheat the iron with the soleplate facing down. 4. To turn iron off, set Temperature Control to OFF ( O ) and unplug the iron. 5. Empty water from the iron following directions in "Caring for Your Iron and Soleplate." Water Please use ordinary tap water. If you have extremely hard water, alternate between tap water and distilled water for use in the iron. *on selected models only 4 5

To Dry Iron
1.
Plug in iron.
2.
Set Temperature Control to desired temperature.
Allow 3 minutes for iron to reach desired temperature.
3.
To turn iron off, set Temperature Control to
OFF ( O )
and
unplug the iron.
To Steam Iron
1.
Unplug iron. Open water tank fill cover. Using a cup, slowly
pour 10 ounces (310 ml) of tap water into the water tank
opening. Close water tank fill cover.
2.
Plug in iron.
3.
With iron in upright position, set Temperature Control to
desired setting in steam range. Allow 3 minutes for iron to
reach desired temperature. Do not preheat the iron with
the soleplate facing down.
4.
To turn iron off, set Temperature Control to
OFF ( O )
and
unplug the iron.
5.

for Your Iron and Soleplate.”
Water
