How to Use Single-Serve Side - Brewing Coffee Grounds or Soft Pods w WARNING Burn Hazard. To avoid contact with hot coffee or water: • Do not use more than 14 oz. (410 ml) of water for ground coffee or Melitta®§ Pods. Adding more than 14 oz. of water to the water reservoir will cause an error message to appear in the display, along with a long beep. Place carafe on warming plate. Turn brew selector dial to Carafe ( ) and push BREW NOW button to remove water. Wait for 3 beeps and blue power light to turn off. Restart the Single-Serve process. • Fill reservoir with cup or travel mug of water into which the coffee will be brewed. • Fully insert cup or travel mug under brew basket. • Remove K-Cup®* pack holder before adding coffee grounds to brew basket. This unit can be used with Melitta®§ soft pods, available in the coffee aisle of your local grocery store. Press BREW OPTIONS button to select GROUND mode. 2 To remove K-Cup®* pack holder, grasp the K-Cup®* pack holder cup; slide towards the back and then lift out. CAUTION! Cut Hazard: Removable K-Cup®* pack holder has a sharp blade. Handle with care. 3 Add ground coffee (3 Tablespoons [45 ml] is the MAX amount of ground coffee for brew basket) or soft pod to brew basket. WARNING!
