Page 4 highlights

How to Use the Can Opener BEFORE FIRST USE: Wash removable parts according to Care and Cleaning on page 6. 1. Plug into outlet. Lift up piercing lever. 2. Place rim of the can firmly under magnetic lid holder and against geared wheel. To ensure taller cans do not fall from the can opener, place hand under can. • If there is a bump, dent, or heavy seam in the rim of the can, open other end of can or start cutter just beyond it. • Cans made with aluminum lids will not adhere to magnet. • The motor of your can opener will never require oiling. • To use cord storage on back of opener, push in or pull out cord as needed. 3. Press piercing lever all the way down. The motor will begin turning can and cutting lid. (It is not necessary to hold the piercing lever down during the cutting action. It may be necessary to hold the bottom of some large, heavy cans during the cutting action.) 4. The motor will stop automatically when the can is open. 4
