You can use the Simple SAN Connection Manager (SSCM) application, the switch QuickTools application, or the switch Command Line Interface (CLI) to install new firmware. Install firmware on one switch at a time in the fabric. If you are installing firmware on more than one switch, wait two minutes after the activation is complete before installing firmware on another switch. If you use SSCM to install firmware, the timing of the firmware installation is automatic.
