Removing Template Parameters To remove parameters in an existing template, issue the settemplate -remove command, where: • is the parameter being removed from the template. The parameters are the options that you specified during the creation of the template. It is not necessary to specify the parameter's value during removal. • is the name of the template being modified. Removing Templates Removing a template deletes the template from the system, but does not delete objects created with that template. To remove a template from the system, issue the removetemplate command, where is the name of the template being removed. You can optionally remove templates matching a specific pattern by issuing the removetemplate -pat command. Removing Template Parameters
To remove parameters in an existing template, issue the
settemplate -remove <option>
<template_name>
command, where:
<option>
is the parameter being removed from the template. The parameters are the options
that you specified during the creation of the template. It is not necessary to specify the
parameter’s value during removal.
<template_name>
is the name of the template being modified.
Removing Templates
Removing a template deletes the template from the system, but does not delete objects created with
that template.
To remove a template from the system, issue the
removetemplate <template_name>
command,
where
<template_name>
is the name of the template being removed.
You can optionally remove templates matching a specific pattern by issuing the
removetemplate
-pat <template_name|pattern>
