Choosing the type of Internet connection You can choose one or more of the following methods to connect to the Internet: ■ Broadband service-High-speed Internet access is provided by an ISP through one of the following services: ❏ Cable modem ❏ Digital Subscriber Line (DSL) ❏ Satellite ❏ Other services Broadband service may require additional hardware and/or software provided by the ISP. ■ WLAN-Internet connection through a WLAN requires broadband wired service with an ISP as well as a wireless router (purchased separately).
