CAUTION Removal and Replacement Introduction Introduction This chapter describes how to remove and replace the DC power supplies. For detailed information regarding removal and replacement of Disk Modules, Bus Control Card (BCC), Fan, Disk System, Door, Top Cover, and Backplane/Mezzanine, refer to the HP SureStore E Disk System SC10 User and Service Guide. Do not remove hot-pluggable components until you have the replacement parts and are ready to install them. An empty slot will cause uneven cooling and eventual overheating and affect long term system reliability. CAUTION Do not move the disk system with disks installed and power on. Even a minimal drop of the disk system can damage spinning disks. 30 Chapter 5
