Hard drive blank CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server blade or the enclosure unless all hard drive and device bays are populated with either a component or a blank. Remove the component as indicated. To replace the blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place. Hard drive To remove the component: 1. Hard drive blank

or the enclosure unless all hard drive and device bays are populated with either a component
or a blank.
Remove the component as indicated.
To replace the blank, slide the blank into the bay until it locks into place.
Hard drive
To remove the component:

Back up all server data on the hard drive.
