Grounding The site building must provide a safety ground or protective earth for each ac service entrance to all cabinets. WARNING! This equipment is Class 1 and requires full implementation of the grounding scheme to all equipment connections. Failure to attach to protective earth results in loss of regulatory compliance and creates a possible safety hazard. Circuit Breaker Each cabinet using a 3-phase, 4-wire input requires a dedicated circuit breaker to support the Marked Electrical current of 44 A per phase. The facility electrician and local service codes determine proper circuit breaker selection. Each cabinet using a 3-phase, 5-wire input requires a dedicated circuit breaker to support the Marked Electrical current of 24 A per phase. The facility electrician and local service codes determine proper circuit breaker selection. NOTE: When using the minimum-size breaker, always choose circuit breakers with the maximum allowed trip delay to avoid nuisance tripping. Power Options Table 1-6 describes the available power options. Table 1-7 provides details about the available options. The options listed are consistent with options for earlier Superdome systems. Grounding
The site building must provide a safety ground or protective earth for each ac service entrance
to all cabinets.
WARNING!
This equipment is Class 1 and requires full implementation of the grounding
scheme to all equipment connections. Failure to attach to protective earth results in loss of
regulatory compliance and creates a possible safety hazard.
Circuit Breaker
Each cabinet using a 3-phase, 4-wire input requires a dedicated circuit breaker to support the
Marked Electrical current of 44 A per phase. The facility electrician and local service codes
determine proper circuit breaker selection.
Each cabinet using a 3-phase, 5-wire input requires a dedicated circuit breaker to support the
Marked Electrical current of 24 A per phase. The facility electrician and local service codes
determine proper circuit breaker selection.
NOTE:
When using the minimum-size breaker, always choose circuit breakers with the
maximum allowed trip delay to avoid nuisance tripping.
