Windows NT 3.51 installs correctly and fully enables all hardware supported by Microsoft under the native operating system. Given that hardware technology has advanced since Windows NT 3.51 was first released, some features of the hardware will not be available. Examples of unsupported hardware features include 32-bit CardBus PC Cards, Plug 'n Play device support and Infrared. In addition to functionality inherently supported by the operating system, Compaq software deliverables are provided to extend functionality or enhance the overall user experience.
