Kit Contents Kit Contents Make sure that you have kit A4980A and that it contains the following items: • PCI backplane • GSC-to-PCI interface board Tools Required You'll need the following items to install the PCI Module: • #1 Pozidriv screwdriver (with extension) • T10 and T-15 Torx screwdrivers • Static-free work area. WARNING: Prerequisites 1 Stop any application programs, then shut down the system. 2 Turn the system off, and unplug the power cord(s) and all other cables and terminators from the system. 3 If the system is mounted in a rack, remove it from the rack. To avoid electrical shock, make sure you unplug the power cable from the wall outlet and the system unit before proceeding any further. 3

Tools Required
You’ll need the following items to install the PCI Module:

#1 Pozidriv screwdriver (with extension)
•
T10 and T-15 Torx screwdrivers
•
Static-free work area.
Prerequisites

Stop any application programs, then shut down the system.

Turn the system off, and unplug the power cord(s) and all other cables and
terminators from the system.

If the system is mounted in a rack, remove it from the rack.
WARNING:
To avoid electrical shock, make sure you unplug the power cable from the wall
outlet and the system unit before proceeding any further.
