All parameters set in this menu operate as global standard for all ICA-sessions, which are immediately set up. Enable Windows Alert Sounds Enables or disables alert sounds in case of warnings of Windows or Windows applications within remote sessions. ICA-Acceleration Activates or deactivates the ICA acceleration for the THINTUNE. Allow backing store If the option backing store is activated, the cache of the X-server can be used by the ICA client in order to ameliorate performance drastically. Use server redraw Server redraw is also a function of the x-server which uses the intelligence of the x-server in order to draw bitmaps (for instance when movingwindows) without slowing down the NT server or the network.
