The Details tab shows additional parameters. Windows Server 2003 This section describes how to install and configure the MSA System MPIO DSM for Windows Server 2003. Information about using the MPIO command-line utility is included for advanced users who might want to change existing parameters. NOTE: The MSA System MPIO DSM does not apply to the HP StorageWorks MSA2012i Modular Smart Array or a P2000 G3 iSCSI controller. The Microsoft iSCSI Software Initiator includes the MPIO DSM that is required for iSCSI. However, both DSMs can be side-by-side on the same server if both the 2012i and 2012fc Modular Smart Arrays are installed. IMPORTANT: The MSA System MPIO DSM also does not apply to the HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 MSA System FC/iSCSI storage controller if the server is connected to the iSCSI host ports. Instead, the Microsoft iSCSI Software Initiator includes the MPIO DSM that is required for iSCSI. Connecting both iSCSI and FC ports to the same server is not supported. So the server recognizes the HP StorageWorks G3 P2000 G3 MSA System FC/iSCSI storage system as either an FC or iSCSI system but not both.
