5 Troubleshooting Solving Common Problems The following table lists possible problems, the possible cause of each problem, and the recommended solutions. Problem Screen is blank or the No Input Signal message is displayed. Possible Cause Power cord is disconnected. Solution Connect the power cord. Monitor power switch is turned off. Video cable is improperly connected. Screen blanking utility is active or PC is in the power saving mode. Press the power button. Connect the video cable properly. Refer to Chapter 3 "Setting Up the Monitor" for more information. Depress any key on the keyboard or move the mouse to deactivate the screen blanking utility or exit the power saving mode.
