Advance Data Formatting Specific String, Any Location Scan this bar code, then, using the Numeric Keypad section in this chapter, scan a two-digit number representing the position (use a leading "zero" if necessary). Then scan the desired character or characters (up to a total of 8) on the Alphanumeric Keyboard section in this chapter, followed by the End Of Message bar code available in this chapter. After scanning the following bar code: 1. Enter a location using the Numeric Keypad bar code in this chapter. 1. Enter a string using the Alphanumeric Keyboard bar codes in this chapter. 2. Scan End Of Message bar code in this chapter. Specific String Any Location Any Message OK By not scanning any bar code, all selected code types are formatted, regardless of information contained.
