System Board Description System board (includes thermal material) Spare part number 665223-001 The system board is secured to the computer with six screws. 1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for Disassembly on page 87). 2. Remove the access panel (Access Panel on page 88). 3. When replacing the system board, make sure the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board: ● Memory modules (seeMemory on page 91) ● Expansion cards (Expansion Card on page 96) ● Heat sink (Fan Sink on page 116) ● Processor (Processor on page 118) 4. Remove the fan from the chassis (Fan Assembly on page 114). 5. Rotate the drive cage to its upright position. 6. Rotate the power supply to its full upright position. 7. Disconnect all data and power cables from the system board. 8.
