Description AMD A8-3500M APU (2.4-GHz/1.5-GHz, 4-MB L2 cache) AMD A6-3400M APU (2.3-GHz/1.4-GHz, 4-MB L2 cache) AMD A4-3300M APU (2.5-GHz/1.9-GHz, 2-MB L2 cache) Spare part number 653350-001 653349-001 653348-001 Before removing the processor, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 40). 5. Remove the following components: a. Bottom door (see Bottom door on page 42). b. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 45) c. Optical drive (see Optical drive on page 43) d. WLAN module (see WLAN/Bluetooth combo card on page 51) e. WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 49) f. Fan (see Fan on page 80) g. Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 82) h. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 56) i. Top cover (see Top cover on page 58) j. System board (see System board on page 75) k. Fan (see Fan on page 80) l. Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 82) Remove the processor: 1. Position the computer upside-down with the front toward you. 2. Before removing the processor, follow these steps:
1.
