Microsoft Internet Explorer Service Pack 2 made Microsoft Internet Explorer much more secure. Internet Explorer has more control over the execution of all content, including a built-in facility to block unwanted pop-up windows and manage the viewing of desired pop-up windows. Furthermore, Internet Explorer now keeps scripts from moving or resizing windows and status bars to hide them from view or obscure other windows. Windows Messenger Windows XPe Service Pack 2 added a block unsafe file transfers feature to Windows Messenger.
