14 Dial-Up Scripts Dial-up RAS (Remote Access Services) scripts are enabled from the Dial-Up Configuration Wizard (see "Dial-Up Connections"). RAS facilitates PPP communications between the terminal (based on Windows CE) and other non-Windows operating systems. Using the Dial-Up Scripts Dialog Boxes Dial-up scripts dialog boxes are accessed by checking the Enable RAS script box and pressing the Script command button in the second panel of the Dial-Up Configuration Wizard. These dialog boxes automate actions that otherwise would be performed in text mode after dialing. The Script Name dialog box (Figure 14-1) enables you to create a script under a new name, edit an existing script, or delete an existing script. Press the New button to open the New Script Name dialog box (Figure 14-2). Type the script name and press OK. This opens the RAS Script dialog box. You may also open the RAS Script dialog box to edit an existing script by selecting the script and pressing Edit. Table 14-1 describes the RAS Script dialog box. To delete as script, select it and press Delete.
