Good Read Delay This sets the minimum amount of time before the document reader can read another barcode. Default = No Delay. * No Delay Medium Delay (1,000 ms) Short Delay (500 ms) Long Delay (1,500 ms) User-Specified Good Read Delay If you want to set your own length for the good read delay, scan the barcode below, then set the delay (from 0-30,000 milliseconds) by scanning digits from the inside back cover, then scanning Save. User-Specified Good Read Delay Trigger Modes Manual/Serial Trigger You can activate the document reader either by pressing the trigger, or using a serial trigger command (see Trigger Commands on page 10-3). When in manual trigger mode, the document reader scans until a barcode is read, or until the trigger is released. When in serial mode, the document reader scans until a barcode has been read or until the deactivate command is sent. In serial mode, the document reader can also be set to turn itself off after a specified time has elapsed (see Read Time-Out, which follows). * Manual/Serial Trigger Read Time-Out Use this selection to set a time-out (in milliseconds) of the document reader's trigger when using serial commands to trigger the document reader, or if the document reader is in manual trigger mode.
