Performance of any filter media is dependent upon the concentration of contaminates going through the system. High concentrations of contaminates such as smoke will reduce the useful performance of the filter. NOTE: The HEPA-Type filters are not washable. To Replace Your HEPA-Type Filters: You can purchase Honeywell replacement HEPA-Type filters for your air purifier if you prefer to replace the filters vs. cleaning them. Replacement HEPA-Type filters may be available at your local Home Depot store or can be ordered directly at www.homedepot.com. If you have any questions, contact Kaz Consumer Services at 1-800-447-0457. FILTER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS • Air purifier should be turned OFF, and unplugged prior to replacing filters. Fig. 9 • Remove the rear grille from the air purifier by pushing down on the release tab at the top of the rear grille and pulling the grille away from the unit (Fig 9). • Remove protective wrap from filter(s). • Note the arrows on the filter frame - snap new filters into place with the arrows facing toward the unit. Install bottom filter first, then top filter. Filters must snap in place in order for the unit to operate properly. • Re-install the rear grille by inserting the lower tab of the grille into the tab Fig. 10 slot near the bottom of the air purifier. Push the top into place until you hear a "snap" (Fig 10). • Plug unit back in. Unit is ready for use. replacement filters may be available from the Home Depot store where you purchased your air purifier, or can be ordered directly from Home Depot at www.homedepot.com.
