TROUBLESHOOTING 6. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING: TO REDUCE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY - UNPLUG CLEANER BEFORE SERVICING PROBLEM Cleaner won't run. POSSIBLE CAUSE Switch not "ON" at Hand Grip. Power Cord not firmly plugged in. POSSIBLE SOLUTION Turn switch "ON" at Hand Grip. Plug Power Cord in firmly. No Voltage in wall plug. Replace Fuse or reset Circuit Breaker in Home. Motor Thermal Protector has tripped. Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Leave for 30 min. before plugging in and switching the cleaner back "ON". Low suction: Canister / Power Nozzle Needs Service. Dirt Cup full or blocked. Dirt Cup not installed properly. Blockage in Nozzle Connector, Hose or Wands. See "Service" section in manual. Empty Dirt Cup and/or remove blockage. Review Dirt Cup replacement section in manual. Remove blockage. Filters dirty or clogged. Clean or replace Filters. Suction Control Valve is open. Close Suction Control Valve on Hand Grip. Power Nozzle won't run Needs Service. Switch not "ON" at Hand Grip. Brushroll reset has tripped. See "Service" section in manual. Turn switch "ON" at Hand Grip. Depress Reset Button located on top of Power Nozzle. Floor selector pedal is on bare floor mode. Switch to desired carpet setting. Handle is not released and in stored upright position. Brushroll is automatically shut off in the upright storage position. Step on Wand Release Pedal to lower Handle and start Brushroll. Power Nozzle won't pickup Needs Service. Low cleaner suction. Blockage in the Nozzle or Nozzle Connector. Brushroll not running. See "Service" section in manual. See "Low suction" section above. Remove blockage. See "Power Nozzle won't run " section above. Brushroll bristles worn. Replace Brushroll. See Brushroll replacement section in manual. Needs Service. See "Service" section in manual. run.
Switch not “ON” at Hand Grip.
Turn switch “ON” at Hand Grip.
Power Cord not firmly plugged in.
Plug Power Cord in firmly.
No Voltage in wall plug.
Replace Fuse or reset Circuit Breaker in Home.
Motor Thermal Protector has tripped.
Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Leave for 30 min. before
plugging in and switching the cleaner back “ON”.
Needs Service.

Low suction:
Canister / Power
Nozzle
Dirt Cup full or blocked.
Empty Dirt Cup and/or remove blockage.
Dirt Cup not installed properly.
Review Dirt Cup replacement section in manual.
Blockage in Nozzle Connector, Hose or Wands.
Remove blockage.
Filters dirty or clogged.
Clean or replace Filters.
Suction Control Valve is open.
Close Suction Control Valve on Hand Grip.
Needs Service.

Power Nozzle
won’t run
Switch not “ON” at Hand Grip.
Turn switch “ON” at Hand Grip.
Brushroll reset has tripped.
Depress Reset Button located on top of Power Nozzle.
Floor selector pedal is on bare floor mode.
Switch to desired carpet setting.
Handle is not released and in stored upright position. Brushroll is
automatically shut off in the upright storage position.
Step on Wand Release Pedal to lower Handle and start Brushroll.
