Cleaning tools 2.12 2.12 When using cleaning tools, cleaner handle should be in the upright position to activate the automatic "brushroll OFF" and for convenience in moving the cleaner from one area to another. A Turn cleaner OFF before disconnecting and connecting hose to hose tube (A). To use hose, lift hose end as shown. Select proper tool (Tools may vary per model) 2.13 B E DA C A. Dusting brush may be used for carved furniture, table tops, books, lamps, lighting fixtures, venetian blinds, baseboards, shutters, and registers. B. Furniture nozzle may be used for upholstered furniture, draperies, mattresses, clothing, automobile interiors, and carpeted stairs. C. Crevice tool may be used in tight spaces, corners and along edges in such places as dresser drawers, upholstered furniture, stairs and baseboards. D. Wands are used to give extra length to your hose. Use them with any of the above tools. E. Powered hand tool may be used for upholstered furniture, carpeted stairs and hard-to-reach places. Attach wand and tools 2.14 2.14 Attach any tool or wand to the hose (G) by pushing it firmly into hose. G H Attach second wand or tool to wand (H) by pushing it firmly onto the wand. Twist wand or tool slightly to tighten or loosen the connection. Stair Cleaning 2.15 Use the hose and powered hand tool or furniture nozzle for stair cleaning. With handle in upright position, clean from bottom to top. 2.15 ! CAUTION ! Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. To avoid personal injury or damage, and to prevent the cleaner from falling, always place cleaner at bottom of stairs or on floor. Do not place cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or damage. 9 Actual model may vary from images shown.
