GENERAL MAINTENANCE 6. GENERAL MAINTENANCE Filter made with HEPA media When to Clean The filter made with HEPA media is intended to be a lifetime filter. Inspect the filter every 2 months at the same time primary filter is cleaned. Over time, it is normal for the filter to turn gray. If filter appears visibly dirty follow cleaning instructions. How to Empty CAUTION - To reduce the risk of personal injury - Unplug before cleaning or servicing. Do not use cleaner without dirt cup or filters in place. Remove dirt cup as described in Fig.5.2. 6.13 Turn knob on top of lid to unlatch. 6.14 Remove lid. 6.15 Remove the filter made with HEPA media. Hold filter over a trash receptacle and tap out dirt and debris. DO NOT RINSE OR WASH the filter made with HEPA media cartridge. Replace filter and lid. Turn knob on top of lid to the locked position. When to Clean
The filter made with HEPA media is intended to be
a lifetime filter. Inspect the filter every 2 months at
the same time primary filter is cleaned. Over time,
it is normal for the filter to turn gray. If filter appears
visibly dirty follow cleaning instructions.
How to Empty
CAUTION - To reduce the risk of personal injury
- Unplug before cleaning or servicing. Do not
use cleaner without dirt cup or filters in place.
Remove dirt cup as described in Fig.5.2.

Turn knob on top of lid to unlatch.

Remove lid.

Remove the filter made with HEPA media.
Hold filter over a trash receptacle and tap out dirt
and debris.

made with HEPA media cartridge.
Replace filter and lid. Turn knob on top of lid to the
locked position.
Replace dirt cup as described in Fig 5.4.
