Some discs have sections that prohibit rapid scanning or title and chapter skip. IR sensor is not working. • Check the batteries in the remote. • Make sure that the remote sensor is not obstructed. • Make sure that the infrared transmitter is pointed toward the remote sensor. Disc will not play. • Insert the disc with the label side facing up. • Check the disc-type. This DVD player only plays DVDs, audio CDs and MP3s. Playback starts, but stops immediately. • This player is a Region 1 device. Check the regional code of the disc. If the regional codes do not match, the disc will not play. • The disc could be dirty.
