Insignia NS-B3111 CD Boombox with AM/FM Radio Listening to the radio To listen to the radio: 1 Make sure the Function switch is in the RADIO position. 2 Slide the Band switch to AM or FM. The LCD displays either KHz (AM) or MHz (FM). 3 Rotate the TUNING control to select a radio station. The LCD displays the station frequency. 4 If necessary, rotate the VOLUME control to adjust the volume. Improving reception To improve radio reception: • AM reception-Rotate your boombox until the signal is clear. • FM reception-Extend the FM antenna, then rotate it until the signal is clear. Listening to a CD Note In addition to audio CDs, your boombox can play CD-Rs. A CD-R must be finalized before you can play it. To listen to a CD: 1 Make sure that the Function switch is in the CD position. 2 Press the OPEN button to open the CD door. 3 Insert a CD, label side up, into the CD compartment. 4 Gently press down on the CD door to close the CD compartment. 5 Press the Play/Pause button to start playback. 6 If necessary, rotate the VOLUME control to adjust the volume. 7 To stop playback, press the Stop button. 10 www.insignia-products.com

Listening to the radio
To listen to the radio:

Make sure the Function switch is in the RADIO position.

Slide the Band switch to AM or FM. The LCD displays either KHz
(AM) or MHz (FM).

control to select a radio station. The LCD
displays the station frequency.

If necessary, rotate the
VOLUME
control to adjust the volume.
Improving reception
To improve radio reception:
•
AM reception–Rotate your boombox until the signal is clear.

FM reception–Extend the FM antenna, then rotate it until the
signal is clear.
Listening to a CD
To listen to a CD:
1
Make sure that the Function switch is in the CD position.

Press the
OPEN
button to open the CD door.

Insert a CD, label side up, into the CD compartment.

Gently press down on the CD door to close the CD compartment.
5
Press the Play/Pause
button to start playback.

If necessary, rotate the
VOLUME
control to adjust the volume.

To stop playback, press the Stop
button.
Note
In addition to audio CDs, your boombox can play CD-Rs. A
CD-R must be finalized before you can play it.
