Intel Wireless Connect Technology enables any desktop PC to join a wireless network or provide wireless Access Point services to a home or small office network through a wireless configuration wizard. Intel Wireless Connect Technology features the following: • Wireless LAN protocols 802.11 b, g • 11 Mbps performance with 802.11b • 54 Mbps performance with 802.11g • WEP, WPA (TKIP/802.1x), and MAC Address filtering for security • Wi-Fi and WHQL certified • Integrated Access Point that can support up to 16 clients 1.12 Hardware Management Subsystem The hardware management features enable the Desktop Boards to be compatible with the Wired for Management (WfM) specification.
