Table 16 shows the format of these IDE submenus. For brevity, only one example is shown. Table 16. Primary/Secondary IDE Master/Slave Submenus Feature Drive Installed Type Maximum Capacity LBA Mode Control Multi-sector Transfers PIO Mode Options Description None Displays the type of drive installed. • None Specifies the IDE configuration mode for IDE devices. • User User allows capabilities to be changed. • Auto (default) Auto fills-in capabilities from ATA/ATAPI device. • CD-ROM • ATAPI Removable • Other ATAPI • IDE Removable None Displays the capacity of the drive. • Disabled Enables or disables LBA mode control. • Enabled (default) • Disabled • 2 Sectors • 4 Sectors • 8 Sectors Specifies the number of sectors per block for transfers from the hard disk drive to memory.
