8 PACKAGING, HANDLING AND SET-UP Connecting Crossover Cable ƽ WARNING Ensure that the crossover cable does not hang loosely below the side channel. Otherwise, the cable could present a tripping hazard.  Crossover Cable Definition - The crossover cable is defined as the cable that connects the junction box to the head motor actuator. If the crossover cable is 43 inches long, refer to Short Crossover Cable on page 37. If the crossover cable is 84 inches long, refer to Long Crossover Cable on page 37. Reverse this procedure to disconnect the crossover cable. Short Crossover Cable  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7 on page 38. 1. Connect the crossover cable to the cable from the head actuator. Long Crossover Cable  For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 8 on page 39. 1. Thread the crossover cable from the junction box through the two loops in the head end. 2. Connect the crossover cable to the short cable from the head actuator. 3. Gently pull the crossover cable toward the junction box so that any slack in the cable is taken up near the junction box. Connecting Crossover Cable
Short Crossover Cable
1.
Connect the crossover cable to the cable from the head actuator.
Long Crossover Cable
1.
Thread the crossover cable from the junction box through the two loops in the head end.
2.
Connect the crossover cable to the short cable from the head actuator.
3.
Gently pull the crossover cable toward the junction box so that any slack in the cable is taken up near the junction box.
