Troubleshooting If your TV fails to work properly, check the following guidelines for possible causes and solutions. Consult your local dealer or service outlet if problems persist. Problem Solution No power. t Make sure the power cord is plugged in. t The power is o , press the Power button to turn on the TV. t Try another outlet. Poor sound or no sound. t Unplug the unit for an hour, then plug it back in. t Press the VOL button on the remote control or the VOL + button on the TV. t Press MUTE on the remote control to ensure that mute is not on. t The channel or cable TV is experiencing problems, tune to another channel. t Check the TV audio settings. Poor picture or no picture. t Check for possible sources of interference. t The channel or cable TV is experiencing problems, tune to another channel. t Make sure that channels are set into memory. t Check the antenna or cable TV connections. Poor reception on some channels. t Check for possible sources of interference. t The channel or cable TV is experiencing problems, tune to another channel. t Make sure that channels are set into memory. t The network signal is weak, adjust the antenna to receive better reception. The remote control does not work. t Check for possible sources of interference. t Batteries may be weak, dead, or inserted incorrectly. t Point the remote control directly at the remote sensor on the TV with an angle of 35º. t Remove any obstacles between the remote control and the TV. TV shuts o . t Remote control is out of range, move closer to the TV. t Sleep timer is set. No CATV reception. t Power is interrupted. t Check all cable TV connections.
