Recording Files (Continued) • Although still images can be taken continuously while SNAPSHOT is being pressed, recording stops once the recordable time is exceeded. • At this time, SNAPSHOT will not work until the writing to the media is completed. (There will be no indicator display on the LCD monitor when recording one image.) • { CONTINUOUS SHOOTING: Records still images continuously. • J BRACKETING: Records 5 still images of different brightness continuously.  The photo indicator lights up immediately on the LCD monitor when SNAPSHOT is pressed. NOTE • Recording cannot be performed when the menu is displayed. Close the menu. • Functions that are only available in still image mode cannot be used. (Example: flash, GAIN, etc.) • The number of recordable still images depends on the remaining space on the recording media. • The size of recorded still images is 3072 x 1728, regardless of the image size that is set. • The still images recorded in the video mode contains a little more noise than the still images recorded in the still image mode. • Simultaneous recording (still image recording) may be performed even when the dial is set to [M]. Preparation: • Select the recording mode. 1 Turn the recording dial and set to the mode (#, SCN, M) that best suits the subject to be recorded. 2 Touch the shutter mode and select RECORD ONE SHOT, CONTINUOUS SHOOTING, or BRACKETING. • RECORD ONE SHOT: Records one still image. RECORD ONE SHOT Records one still image at a time. After performing steps 1-2 3 Press SNAPSHOT. CONTINUOUS SHOOTING Records still images continuously while SNAPSHOT is pressed. You can set the continuous shooting speed from the menu. (Z p. 71) After performing steps 1-2 3 Press and hold SNAPSHOT. • Recording ends when SNAPSHOT is released. • The display during medium and high speed recording is as follows.
