Changing the Battery The battery should be changed when the Operation Indicator fades or does not turn on. The Noise Canceling Function becomes less effective as the battery wears down so make sure to replace the battery as necessary to maintain the proper performance of the headphones. NOTES: Misuse of battery could result in leakage. This could cause a fire or explosion. To prevent this, pay special attention to the following points: • Be sure to insert the battery with correct positive and negative polarities. • Do not heat, disassemble or short-circuit battery and never dispose of battery by throwing them in a fire. • Read the caution displayed on the battery when in use. USING THE HEADPHONES 1. When the power is OFF, the headphone operates without noise canceling function. 2. When the power is ON, the headphone operates with noise canceling function. 3. Rewind the cord and turn the power ON to use the noise canceling function like an ear plug (e.g. while sleeping on airplane or train) • Select the appropriate plug adaptor that fits in the airplane headphone plug. FOLDING THE HEADPHONES 1. Push up the slider on both ends. 2. Place the earpads together. 3. Fold the housing at both ends and push up from the bottom. HOW TO PULL-OUT/REWIND THE CORD Pull out: Slowly pull out the cord to the desired length. Maximum cord length is 4.9ft (1.5m); stop pulling when the cord end mark appears. Rewind: Remove the headphones, fold it up, and then slide the rewind switch. (To prevent accidents, the headphone is designed not to rewind end mark when it is in use or while wearing it.) s If the cord doesn't wind in completely, pull it out and try rewinding again.
