The digits, accent and extended code characters, and alphabets are switched each time it is pressed. 4 Scrolls the keyboard display. 5 Enters a character. 6 Clears the character. All entry characters are cleared if this key is touched more than 1 second. 7 Enters the entry characters. 8 Returns to the Edit Phone Number ("TEL Number Edit") screen. The extended code characters are displayed only when a cellular phone supporting the GSM alphabets is connected. Each of extended code characters occupies a two-character memory space when registered. 5 Enter a name a etc. 6 Register the phone number Ok The editing completes and the Phone Book data is updated. 82 English Quick Dialing You can register up to 3 phone numbers for quick dialing. To register a phone number: 1 Display a phone number you wish to register See the (see page 80) and (see page 79). 2 Register the phone number P1 - P3 Continue to touch more than 2 seconds. To call a phone number from memory: P1 - P3 Only a phone number can be registered for Quick Dialing. Therefore, the destination subscriber name and others are not displayed during dialing. You can register up to 3 phone numbers for
quick dialing.
To register a phone number:
See the <Calling by Phone Book> (see page 80) and
<When dialing> (see page 79).
Continue to touch more than 2 seconds.
To call a phone number from memory:
Only a phone number can be registered for
Quick Dialing. Therefore, the destination
subscriber name and others are not displayed
during dialing.
