CIS-256 June 2004 CURRENT INFORMATION SUMMARY Opening Instructions for the KODAK Zoom One-Time-Use Camera Wear eye protection when opening all cameras. 1 Wind Off 0 shutter button thumbwheel 2 Insert Tool • Make sure "0" is aligned with the arrow in the frame-counter window. • If the "0" is not aligned, grip the camera and cover the lens.Then press the shutter button and turn the thumbwheel (repeat these steps until the film is fully rewound). The film is fully rewound when the thumbwheel rotates freely and does not stop or lock. 3 Break Off Film Door • Using the special tool, hold the camera firmly and pull upwards to break off the film door and to remove the film. • Place the used camera in the 5 Kodak recycle bin. • Visit our Web site at http:// www.kodak.com/go/kes for details about Kodak's recycling program. • Call Kodak's advertising distribution center at (800) 847-8755 to order a Kodak hand-opening tool. • Insert the special tool into the end slot. 4 Remove Film Opened camera with film removed. Exposed Film CAUTION: Before you attempt the opening tasks, make sure the tool is fully engaged with the camera body to prevent tool slippage. CAUTION: This camera body contains a high-voltage capacitor and circuit board. To avoid electric shock, do not pry apart the front and back sections of the camera.
