Calibration guides - for optimum image quality, keep the calibration guides clean. There are two guides - one upper and one lower. Feed module - provides smooth document feeding and separation of various sizes, thicknesses and textures of documents. Paper present sensor/Left-edge sensor - detects the presence of documents in the paper path during feeding and imaging. Back view Power switch Power port USB port Power switch - turns the scanner on and off. Power port - connects the power cord to the scanner. USB port - connects the scanner to the PC.
