O 7 • Remove the Document Guide and pull out misfed document. Mount of the Document Guide Turn the Knob up to "STOP" when mount the Document Guide into position. • Bring documents stopped at the red Indicators back to the Document Feed Tray. They are yet to be filmed. • Place documents stopped at the green Indicators on the Exit Tray. They have already been filmed. • Close the Document Take-Up Cover, Document Pressure Glass, and Document U-Turn Cover. Lift the Imprinter up slightly and, at the same time, swing it to the left into the locked position. • If the Shutter Button lights up green, you can restart the filming procedure. IN MAINTENANCE OF THE IMPRINTER As the Imprinter is used to print the frame numbers on a large number of documents or if the Shutter Button is pressed a number of times without actually feeding documents, the Platen Roller gets dirtied by the ink ribbon and the dirt is transferred onto the surface of the documents. When you fins dirty documents, therefore, feed sheets of blank paper through the machine in the ADF Mode to remove the dirt off the Platen Roller. Procedure: 1 Turn OFF the IMPRINTER key and remove the Film Unit from DAR2800. 2 Place the Film Unit Release Lever in the SET position. 3 Place some ten sheets of blank paper on the Document Feed Tray and, making sure that DAR2800 is in the ADF Mode, press the Shutter Button to feed the blank sheets of paper one after after through the machine. NOTEI Repeat this procedure until/ the blank sheet is fed out clean. 39
