PREPARATION 32/37/42LG5*** BACK COVER FOR WIRE ARRANGEMENT 1 Connect the cables as necessary. To connect additional equipment, see the EXTERNAL EQUIPMENT SETUP section. Secure the power cable with the PROTECTIVE BRACKET/Screw or PLUG IN TYPE HOLDER for power code. It will help prevent the power cable from being removed by accident. STAND INSTALLATION 1 Carefully place the TV screen side down on a cush- ioned surface to protect the screen from damage. 2 Assemble the parts of the STAND BODY with COVER BASE of the TV. STAND BODY or PROTECTIVE BRACKET PLUG IN TYPE HOLDER (This feature is not available for all models.) 2 Install the CABLE MANAGEMENT CLIP as shown. If your TV has the CABLE HOLDER, install it as shown and bundle the cables. COVER BASE 3 Assemble the TV as shown. CABLE MANAGEMENT CLIP CABLE HOLDER 3 Put the cables inside the CABLE MANAGEMENT CLIP and snap it closed. PROTECTION COVER After removing the stand, install the included protection cover over the hole for the stand. Press the PROTECTION COVER into the TV until you hear it click. 4 x 4 Tighten the stand with the four screws (provided as parts of the TV). or x 2 x 2 Tighten the two of these four screws and the two Torx plus star head screws (provided as parts of the TV) to secure the TV. Tighten the two Torx plus star head screws with a star head dri- ver bit (not provided as parts of the TV). ! NOTE G When assembling the desk type stand, make sure the bolt is fully tightened (If not tightened fully, the TV can tilt forward after the product installation). Do not over tighten. G With some TVs, the PLUG IN TYPE HOLDER and the CABLE HOLDER are included. If these holders are inserted into the hole provided on back of the TV, they cannot be removed. 15
