Messages Changing your text message settings Press Menu, select Messages, then choose Settings and Text Message. The following options are available: Text Message Center - View the details for your message center. Email Gateway - Allows you to edit the Email Gateway number. Character Encoding - Choose how your characters are encoded. This affects the size of your message and you might incur extra data costs. Send Long Text As - Choose whether to send your message as Multiple SMS or MMS when you enter text longer than 160 characters in the message field.
