Volume & RAID 1. Individual disc(No Raid) Volume This is a technique to configure volume for each hard disk without RAID configuration. It is similar to the use of hard disks in regular PCs. If the hard disk is damaged, the hard disks data will be lost. 2. RAID1 Mirroring Volume This is a technique to make a same copy of hard disk data. Even if the hard disk gets damaged, hard disk consisted of volume has the same content, thus it will have less storage space but an excellent recovery rate. The volume's storage capacity replicates all data onto the hard disk, so it has the smallest storage capacity among hard disks consisting of RAID1. Because it prioritizes restoration, it is most appropriate to save important data on it. ※ It is recommended that you use hard disks with the same storage capacity and company when configuring volume. 101
