Important notice 8. Opening and Switching Applications Multi-tasking is easy with Android because open applications run in the background when you open another application. There's no need to quit an application before opening another. You are allowed to switch among several open applications. Android manages each application, stopping and starting them as needed, to ensure that idle applications don't consume resources unnecessarily. To stop the application you use 1. From the Home screen, touch the Application Launcher icon g Settings g Applicationsg Manage applications. 2. Touch the desired application and touch Force stop to stop using it. 8. Opening and Switching Applications
Multi-tasking is easy with Android because open
applications run in the background when you open
another application. There’s no need to quit an
application before opening another. You are allowed
to switch among several open applications. Android
manages each application, stopping and starting
them as needed, to ensure that idle applications
don’t consume resources unnecessarily.
To stop the application you use
From the Home screen, touch the
Application

Settings

Applications
g
Manage applications

Touch the desired application and touch
Force
stop
to stop using it.
TIP:
Getting back to recent Apps
