24 USING YOUR WASHING MACHINE Cycle setting buttons Each cycle has preset settings that are selected automatically. You may also customize the settings using the cycle setting buttons. Press the button for that option to view and select other settings. The washer automatically adjusts the water level for the type and size of wash load for best results and maximum efficiency. It may seem there is no water inside the drum in some cycles, but this is normal. -0 NOTE • To protect your garments, not every wash temperature, spin speed, soil level, or option is available with every cycle. See the Cycle Guide for details. Setting options before cycle You can select and add the desired optional functions before you start the washing machine. Setting the water temperature, WASH TEMP. Set the water temperature for the wash cycle. Set the appropriate temperature, as specified in the fabric care label. 1 Turn the cycle selector knob to the desired cycle.
