Connecting a SATA drive You can connect a SATA optical drive or a SATA hard disk drive to an available SATA connector on the system board. To connect a SATA drive, do the following: 1. Connect one end of the signal cable to the SATA drive and the other end to an available SATA connector on the system board. See "Locating parts on the system board" on page 70. 2. Connecting a SATA drive
You can connect a SATA optical drive or a SATA hard disk drive to an available SATA connector on the
system board.
To connect a SATA drive, do the following:
1. Connect one end of the signal cable to the SATA drive and the other end to an available SATA connector
on the system board. See “Locating parts on the system board” on page 70.
2. Locate an available five-wire power connector and connect it to the SATA drive.
