Disabling the built-in battery
Before replacing any FRU, ensure that you have disabled the built-in battery by doing the following:

1. Turn off your computer and disconnect all cables from the computer. Connect the ac power adapter to
the power connector on your computer.
2. Do the following to enter Developer mode:
a. Press and hold the esc key, the refresh key
