On the incline surface of a tray or between two trays If your paper is being fed from any of the standard or optional trays, the paper may jam: • Along the incline surface of the tray where the paper feeds out of the tray. • Between feed rollers in the pass-through area where paper crosses in the front of two trays. You see the difference as soon as you pull the tray out. 1 Pull the paper tray half way out of the support unit. 2 Look for paper in the paper tray and remove it based on how it is jammed: - If the paper is lying on the incline or wall surface at the front of the tray, pull the paper straight out. If your paper is being fed from any of the standard or optional trays,
the paper may jam:

Along the incline surface of the tray where the paper feeds out
of the tray.
•
Between feed rollers in the pass-through area where paper
crosses in the front of two trays.
You see the difference as soon as you pull the tray out.

Pull the paper tray half way out of the support unit.
