3.3.18 Print Resource List This option prints a list of the following IPDS resources: • All resident fonts • All captured bitmap, Type 1 and TrueType fonts • All captured DBCS fonts • All captured Code Pages • All captured data objects • All Color Management Resources (CMR's) stored on the printer (Refer to "RESOURCE CAPTURE Menu Options" on page 44 on how to enable Resource Capture.) Yes Print IPDS resource list. No Do not print IPDS resource list. Printing an IPDS resource list will delete any IPDS resources stored in the printer memory. A "Printer Reset" Nack will be returned to the host and the resources will be downloaded again at the start of the next host session. Note: This function can not be operated remotely. 3.3.19 Trace Functions This option determines if the Trace function is enabled. Trace data is sent to the selected port. This option is usually only operated by service personnel for trouble shooting purposes. When this feature is enabled, the IPDS emulation will attempt to make contact with an externally connected trace program, which is provided for technical service only. Enabling this option without having a computer running the trace program attached to the port selected to receive the trace data, the printer may hang with IPDS or BUSY displayed. Print performance may be degraded when the trace function is active. Disable* Disable Trace. USB Std. Output Enable the standard USB port (port on rear of printer) for trace data output. Note: This function can not be operated remotely. 3.3.20 IPDS Version This option displays the current IPDS firmware version / level. Note 1: This option can not be used remotely. Note 2: The IPDS level is also shown on the printed Menu Settings Page. It is found as "IPDS Emulation" under the Device Information heading. 23

3.3.18 Print Resource List
This option prints a list of the following IPDS resources:
All resident fonts
All captured bitmap, Type 1 and TrueType fonts
All captured DBCS fonts
All captured Code Pages
All captured data objects
All Color Management Resources (CMR’s) stored on the printer

Printing an IPDS resource list will delete any IPDS resources stored in the printer memory. A “Printer

3.3.19 Trace Functions
This option determines if the Trace function is enabled. Trace data is sent to the selected port.
