▍ BIOS Setup ▶ ACPI Settings ▶ Suspend Mode This setting specifies the mode of system suspend. ▶ Remote Access Configuration ▶ Remote Access The setting enables/disables the remote access function. When set to [Enabled], users may configure the following settings for remote access type and parameters. ▶ Console Redirection Port, Base Address, IRQ, Serial Port Mode Use these settings to configure ports for remote access. ▶ Flow Control Flow control is the process of managing the rate of data transmission between two nodes. It's the process of adjusting the flow of data from one device to another to ensure that the receiving device can handle all of the incoming data. This is particularly important where the sending device is capable of sending data much faster than the receiving device can receive it. 3-8

Suspend Mode
This setting specifies the mode of system suspend.
Remote Access Configuration
Remote Access
The sett±ng enables/d±sables the remote access funct±on. When set to [En-
abled], users may configure the following settings for remote access type
and parameters.
Console Redirection Port, Base Address, IRQ, Serial Port Mode
Use these settings to configure ports for remote access.
Flow Control
Flow control ±s the process of manag±ng the rate of data transm±ss±on be-
tween two nodes. It’s the process of adjusting the flow of data from one
dev±ce to another to ensure that the rece±v±ng dev±ce can handle all of the
±ncom±ng data. Th±s ±s part±cularly ±mportant where the send±ng dev±ce ±s ca-
pable of send±ng data much faster than the rece±v±ng dev±ce can rece±ve ±t.
