Black Level Adjust Black Level to brighten the DVD and Video CD picture during playback. 1 During disc playback, press MODE repeatedly until the Black Level Menu appears in the information bar at the top of the screen. OFF (BLACK LEVEL) 2 Within 1 minute, press K or L to switch ON or OFF. ON brightens the dark parts of the picture. OFF shows the original picture as recorded. Virtual Surround You can enjoy improved stereo sound when you play DVDs, Video CDs, Audio CDs, MP3 or Windows MediaTM Audio files recorded in Dolby Digital or Pulse Code Modulation (PCM).
