You can adjust the delay times and volume of the speakers connected to the DVD Receiver. These adjustments let you optimize the sound according to your surroundings and setup. 1 2 3 While playback is stopped, press SYSTEM MENU. Press ; or - to select the icon. If you set TEST TONE to ON, the test sound signal will move through the Front Left, Center, Front Right, Surround Right, and Surround Left speakers. To stop the test sound signal, set TEST TONE to OFF. You must set TEST TONE to OFF before you can exit the System Menu and actually adjust the speakers' volume. Reset the Rear speaker delay
time (REAR DELAY) to improve
the Surround Sound effect.
Choose 15MS (milliseconds),
12MS, 9MS, 6MS (default) or
OFF.
Use the longer delay settings
when the Rear speakers are
closer to the listener than
the Front speakers.
Choose TEST TONE
if you
want to test the volume levels
of all the speakers in the DVD
Home Cinema System. If you set
TEST TONE to ON, the test
sound signal will move through
the Front Left, Center, Front
Right, Surround Right, and
Surround Left speakers. To stop
the test sound signal, set
TEST TONE to OFF. You must set
TEST TONE to OFF before you can
exit the System Menu and actually
adjust the speakers
volume.
